Lehigh Valley Health Network offers the national Safe Sitter® Essentials program, which helps to prepare adolescents who have completed 5th grade through 8th grade with skills to be safe when they are babysitting, watching younger siblings, or home alone. Fee of $27.50 per student includes student handbook.

Students will need the following to participate in the Safe Sitter Class: A doll or stuffed animal to practice diaper changing and choking rescue. Lunch, snacks and a drink for the full day class. Parents: For your child's safety, please accompany your child for registration and join us at 3:30 p.m. for the graduation ceremony. Students will not be dismissed until parent is present for pick-up.
